Today most litter generated 'Away from Home' does not complete its life-cycle or what is commonly termed it’s ‘loop’, in the best environmental way.  Its effective life ends prematurely in a big hole in the ground, the local municipal landfill dump! 

Over the past decade there has been an increasing awareness that much of this litter, in particular, plastic bottles, metal drinks cans and plastic cups ought to be diverted from landfill and recycled.  They do carry a value, can be recycled and reused as a valuable  secondary raw material. 

The reason this has not happened before is simply cost.  Primarily this is for recovery, collection, separation, processing (compacting and bailing) and transportation, i.e. the cost of waste management is too high to make it commercially viable.

We have now established the first dedicated service that meets these challenges, managed through a dedicated company with end to end responsibility for quality and cost effectiveness, passing on savings to the customer.  The 'loop' can now be completed by us and we offer the 'best practicable environmental option' (BEPO) for the disposal of used beverage packaging in the UK .
