Recycling Options has developed a range of incentive programmes utilising the Ecoverter paper receipt system, used by each machine. In 2006,  however, we will introduce SMARTcards and loyalty card point systems, linked to special offer consumer items and gifts.

Each incentive programme will be bespoke and/or associated with brands offered through local vending units or retailers.   For example: where Colleges are involved, internal competitions, and reward visits to historical places are just two possibilities for sponsorship by Ecoverter activity.  Middle Schools might wish to purchase recycled stationery items at a discounted rate or support a particular charity, as their incentive option.  Recycling Options will advise and is positioned to manage each incentive programme in partnership with the host organisation or brandowner.

Close liaison with brandowners, retailers and other suppliers will ensure that Recycling Options will maximise opportunities and fund rewards for consumers that recycle the Ecoverter way.

In addition to rewarding the consumer, we offer rebates to organisations to help off-set the direct costs involved in waste management.

Our operations are quality controlled under the Automatic Vending Association quality assurance scheme and currently we are moving towards ISO 14001 accreditation.  This means that our service has a level of audit and transparency that presents an opportunity to share rewards, for the consumer, the host and ourselves.  Similarly we are all sharing responsibility to increase recycling of used beverage containers and improve the environment, particularly in public spaces.
