The Ecoverter offers a comprehensive self-contained recycling option for plastic, aluminum and steel beverage containers, including plastic cups.   Its development and design has produced specific features that make it unique.

• Each machine, takes up no more space than a comparable vending unit.
• The whole operational functions are enclosed and secure.

• Each machine can either accept selected multi-materials or any single selection.
• The Ecoverter reads bar codes on all types of containers, records and counts them, and creates records, providing accurate recovery and recycling data for the host.
• Each machine crushes or shreds materials and holds <250 plastic containers, <600 aluminum cans and <6000 cups before it needs to be emptied.  It takes about three minutes to remove and replace a full bag of used processed containers.
• All  machines weigh and reject partially full containers, or foreign objects. 
• Processed material is held in plastic bags inside the unit, preventing spillage, leaking, or attracting bees or other vermin.
• Each installation can be part of an incentive programme that rewards the consumer and provides a contribution towards the cost of the service.
• All machines are subject to planned maintenance programmes supported by a team of mobile Ecoverter engineers covering the UK.

The Ecoverter Service includes a dedicated waste collection service and guarantees that materials are recycled or in the case of  'dirty' materials, incinerated with energy recovery.
